Can you use the same procedure if trying to transfer an inspirational phrase or phrases that was printed from the computer on printer paper or should I try to copy it to another type of transfer paper?

Hi, I'm mauro and i follow you from 3 mounth. Everytime in your aticle there is beautiful and clever ideas. Congratulation for your work that open new doors to print and utilization of image.
Now the summer is ending and i'd like to use your suggestion. I buy your first book and i'd like start this alternative process. I have only one problem, i'm searching mod podge or medium gel in my townm in Italy, in specialistic decoupage shop but no one know mod podge. I'd like ask you what's this gel or what is its usually use.

Thanks a lot for your work

i have a Lomo diana+, but gradually i abandoned that for a disposable camera that i found in a drawer.
i found the way to recharge the film everytime i want, and i say for sure that there is just a little difference with the lomos. Same plastic lens, vignetting and double fun discovering how a disposable camera is made of!
each disposable camere costs at least 10€!!!

Don't forget the other Yashica TLR's. I had a Yashica-D way back in the early 80's. Got rid of it many years ago. Had a 124-G. Got rid of it many years ago. Just recently got a mint D for about $100 on ebay. What a wonderful little camera. Just a few pictures - http://www.pbase.com/rsweatt/yashica_d

Another thing you will find Tony, is your negatives, providing they are correctly processed and filed, will last a lifetime or more, unlike digital, which is basically a rather unstable elecronic image, and has been scientifically proven to degrade after a period of time. Some of my early digital pics. from ten years ago, stored on CD's, have already gone "corrupt".
And what about the computers of the future?..Are you still going to be able to play back your images stored on CD's then......Doubtful....
Obviously, hard disc storage is better, but it's yet more expense. With a film negative, you can scan into any system that may present itself in the future.
Anyone who believes digital is cheaper just because you don't have to pay for film, must be living on another planet.

If they stop making film I will switch to the collodion process of wet or dry plates. Maybe I will take up pinhole cameras. Maybe in another century digital will be as good as film. But until then.....

It is funny that I was headed down the digital road for a while, but I got sick and tired of trying to keep up with the next innovation for the next higher megapixel. I just can't get the quality out of digital that I can get out of film. I just happened to talk to a friend the other day, and he was going down the digital road and wanted to get rid of his film cameras. I bought 3 medium format film cameras and one 35mm film camera off of him for $350.00. Pricing them on ebay, just one of the medium formats was going for that much. But I am not selling them on ebay. I use them for Black and White, which I develop myself. I still have a digital camera or two, but I use it on quick outtings and hikes to take pictures of the places I will come back to with the medium format cameras. Also, my wife was wondering where all the vibrant colors went to, when I showed her digital pics. Then I showed her pics from Velvia. All I got was oooohs and aaaaahs. She asked why I could not get such colors with the digital camera. I probably could if I Photoshop'ed it enough. Film ROCKS! Digital SUCKS!
